Math 528 Lab Fall 2021: Laboratory For Mathematical Methods for the Physical Sciences I

Welcome to Math 528 Lab. This class is designed as an introduction to programming with Mathematica and Matlab. In this course we will begin with linear equations focusing on the accuracy and convergence of the techniques. After a final overview of stability analysis and systems, we will depart into nonlinear applications such as SIR models, double pendulums and planet orbits. Lastly, we will give a introductory treatment of PDEs, in particular the 1D heat equation.
