It’s been a busy start to the semester. Not even two weeks in and we have already been on three field trips and one weekend kayaking adventure. Today classes were canceled because of Tropical Storm Idalia.
Spend the semester with us at the Institute of Marine Sciences.
It will change your life!
Students moved into the NCSU Coastal Quarters, had a day of orientation events, visited the Rachel Carson Reserve as part of ENEC 471, were introduced to living shorelines (the topic of the capstone research project), and went on a field trip to explore salt marsh strata. Not a bad start to the semester.
