Mercy Neal is a Masters student, working with the lab on development of wastewater monitoring methods in North Carolina. Her particular interests involve monitoring of wastewater for underreported diseases such as enterics and STIs. She recently graduated from her undergraduate program at UNC with a BSPH in Environmental Health Sciences and a BS in Biology and hopes to pursue Doctoral level work in Environmental Microbiology.
