Module 1 discussed how AI functioned and introduced the AI ecosystem. You then had the opportunity to “play” around with a piece of AI and write a profile for it.

Module 2 transitioned to prompting strategies for AI that began with a 3-step approach (Role-Input-Output) and then went into further detail about prompting, with specific examples for teaching, scholarship, and productivity. It offered you the opportunity to practice prompting AI for your purposes.

Module 3 focused specifically on teaching, and it provided specific ways to leverage AI in the classroom before discussing strategies for developing “AI-aligned” assignments. With that module, you were to analyze and revise a learning activity and accompanying assessment, so they leveraged AI.

Module 4 centered on the academic integrity of using AI, and you were offered ways for you and your students to document using AI in instructional contexts. In addition, guidance for using AI as part of the research process was offered as well as resources and support for citing it within scholarly works.
