The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Diversity Psychology Weekend

What is it?

The UNC Diversifying Psychology Weekend (DPW) is an opportunity for talented ethnic/racial minority undergraduates and recent college graduates interested in pursuing doctoral level training in psychology and neuroscience.

Whose it for?

While we encourage all applicants, this program would be most beneficial for those who are planning to apply to graduate school in the near future. (Curious about prior attendees? Check out our list of prior attendees through the tabs above.)

What will happen?

This year’s virtual program includes two days of seminars, panel discussions, and workshops. Students will learn how to develop a competitive application for graduate school, receive individual feedback, and meet with doctoral students and faculty from our department in formal and informal settings. This year’s DPW will provide students the opportunity to explore the six graduate programs in our Psychology & Neuroscience department at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: Clinical, Cognitive, Developmental, Quantitative, and Social Psychology, and Behavioral and Integrative Neuroscience. See the schedule for DPW 2023 at the tab above.

When is it?
