Happy end-of-the-semester CHSS Family! 💛📚 As we wrap up the Fall semester and year, we want to thank you for all for carrying the motto of CHSS forward! As we returned in person, we went back to our in-person GBMs while offering virtual GBMs as well where we hosted incredible guest speaker sessions, 15 opportunities for virtual medical shadowing credit, fun social events including Ice cream and pizza, multiple COVID-friendly in-person and remote volunteer events, restaurant benefit nights where we raised over $200 for local non-profits in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro area, and a Medical School Q&A! All this to say we worked as one of Chapel Hill’s largest teams to help our community and we are so proud of all of our members for our contributions! We could not have done it without our awesome members who take each service and medical opportunity to grow as a student! 💯 We hope you all had a great finals season and have a great time with your loved ones during this well-deserved break for everyone at UNC-Chapel Hill! CHSS will continue to share events and giveaways through social media, so stay tuned. Have a great holiday break and we look forward to seeing you all next Spring!

Halloween was NOT cancelled this year after raising $752.10 for kids around the world! 🌎 Through this year’s UNICEF Trick or Treat Virtual Collection Box, CHSS members were able to fundraise for vaccine efforts for kids around the world while maintaining social distance. Special shoutouts to Kaegon Matlock, Edgar Kong, and Rachel Li, who made significant impacts as the club’s top 3 fundraisers for this event!
