About

The NC Works4Health study is for clients of employment services at the Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, Guilford, Orange, Person, and Wake County Department of Social Services and NC Works Career Centers.

The program is designed to help you manage your health as you enter the workforce. You may take part in a lifestyle coaching program that will focus on improving your diet, exercise, stress management, problem solving skills and ability to cope with change.  In addition, your future supervisor may participate in training designed to create a more supportive work environment.  The program is intended to guide you as you move into a new job and may have a positive, as well as collective, influence on improving the health of you and your community.

If eligible to participate, you will receive monetary incentives along with the chance at a Fitbit Inspire and Aria Air scale.
