I presented a poster of my research Exploring the effects of climate change on compound flooding in NC estuarine communities at the NC Water Resources Research Institute (WRRI) Annual Conference and won an honorable mention in the Student Poster Competition (March 2022)

Our student-led group was awarded the first North Carolina Sea Grant Coastal Resilience Team Competition which will support our project Incorporating Ecosystem Services into Flood-Resilience Planning in New Bern, North Carolina. Link to Announcement (March 2022)

CUAHSI Pathfinder Fellowship to support my proposal titled Investigating risk dynamics in coastal areas using an integrated modeling approach that accounts for the physical and social drivers of flooding. See the announcement in the CUAHSI newsletter (March 2022)

Young Resilience Fellowship with the 4TU DeSIRE Program that supports my travel to the Netherlands to work on socio-hydrology research. This fellowship also connects me with many researchers who are interested in resilience engineering. (2022)

I presented my poster titled Flood Hazards at the River-Coastal Interface of Carolina Watersheds at the Carolinas Climate Resilience Conference (CCRC) and placed in the Student Poster Competition. (May 2021)

I was selected as a UNC Weiss Urban Livability Fellow where our cohort of graduate students from across campus came together to dive into topics regarding the livability of our community. We created a PhotoVoice to share some of our impressions and experiences during COVID-19. (2020-2021)
