At the beginning of this module, you were asked to list the benefits and concerns you have about using generative AI for your teaching and scholarly purposes. Next, you were introduced to guidelines for instructors, students, and researchers about using AI in those different areas and then had the opportunity to apply them. This activity will ask you to share your thoughts about one or more of the sets of guidelines.
On the Padlet below, share your thoughts about the guidelines for instructors, students, and/or research. Feel free to share your thoughts in response to the following prompts, or focus your response in another way.
- What do you see as the benefits of the guidelines?
- What areas in the guidelines could still be improved?
- How will you revise and implement policies around AI in these areas?
