Emily completed her undergraduate studies in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She was an undergraduate researcher in the Ahmed Lab, prior to becoming a technician. She hopes to contribute to the medical field as a scientist and future physician. In her free time, she likes to knit, volunteer at her local hospice center and bake pastries.
