360° Video Databases
360° Video Databases
Lenovo Edu VR
From Lenovo, this curated database of 360° videos sourced mostly from YouTube offers educators a selection of content classified first by grade level and then subject area. When users click a video, they are directed to YouTube, where they can view the video directly on their computer, smart device, or VR headset. Because users are not able to directly download the videos from YouTube or the Lenovo site, it is recommended that educators either share links to the videos or embed them in their course content (e.g., PPT slides, LMS, website).
Veative
Veative is a resource center that users can access by clicking the “Browse” button on its homepage. Once clicked, Veative opens a new page that consists of modules, courses, and videos, with many of the 360° videos being hosted on YouTube. The Modules include a video along with a learning overview and a video, which often contains interactive features. The Courses include a series of videos aligned to a topic and there are multiple videos per topic. The Videos are part of a growing library that is updated. In addition, Veative’s content is organized in a database that users can search by using the options on the left of the screen or entering key terms into the search box at the topic.
