Recommended Teaching Strategy
Example 360° Learning Experience
Show the video to students, navigating around so they get a sense of the scene. Have students identify prices they see, encouraging them to think about how much they might spend if they bought a few different types of pumpkins. Students can complete the recommended worksheet, which focuses on purchasing 2 or 3 pumpkins at a time. Number line manipulatives, such as on a mini whiteboard, can help students model the word problems to support their thinking.
