Count forward beginning from a given number within the known sequence (instead of having to begin at 1). 

Objective

  • View a 360° video and count objects in the video starting at numbers other than 1.

Example 360° Learning Experience

Conduct a number talk using the corresponding video. Here are some questions to guide your discussions: 

  • If I already have two pumpkins in my basket, how many will I have altogether if I take all of the ones on the shelf with me? 
  • How can we quickly group the pumpkins on the shelf together? Count the total number on the shelf, starting from that number. 
  • How many pumpkins are on the shelf? How many are there if I include the one directly below the shelf?
