We are ULTRASONC, a consortium of medical ultrasound investigators spanning Duke University, North Carolina A&T University, North Carolina State University, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and The University of North Carolina at Charlotte. We are united by a common mission to improve healthcare by supporting the advancement of medical ultrasound technology and by offering unmatched undergraduate, graduate, and post-doctoral training in ultrasound engineering. We serve our universities, the state of North Carolina, and the world by being a nucleus for technical ultrasound expertise and a source for uniquely well-prepared talent. Complemented by an array of clinical and basic science collaborators, and buttressed by the prolific biotechnology industry in the surrounding Research Triangle Park, we are poised to clinically and commercially translate our ultrasound innovations so that they may have the greatest impact on human health.
