We strongly recommend you pick up your race materials on Friday to avoid lines on Saturday morning. Fleet Feet Carrboro offers Strides for STEM 5K participants a 10% discount on their purchases at Fleet Feet Carrboro while packet pickup happens. T-shirts are first-come, first-served for registrations made after May 24th. On-site registration available.
5K Race Day Timeline:
Race Day! TBA (6 AM – 11 AM; start time 8 AM)
6:30 AM – Same-day packet pick-up (and on-site registration) begins
Campus Y Courtyard, 180 E. Cameron Ave.
7:45 AM – Line up begins
Start Location: UNC Campus, Old Well. E Cameron Avenue. Important race announcements will be made 10min before start time.
8:00 AM – Start Time!!
We are prepared to start on time, so please plan to line up early.
9:00 AM – Presentation of Awards
9 – 11 AM – After the Race
Engage with the local STEM community. After the race is complete, all guests and participants are encouraged to stick around to socialize and interact with the STEM groups represented at this event. Food and drinks will be available during this time. Plus, you can buy one of last year’s awesome Strides for STEM 5K t-shirts for a donation of just $5!
Parking:
Free parking is available on UNC Campus in close proximity to the start location. Please see the list below for more specific parking locations.
