The first publication from the Caregiving Youth Research Collaborative (CYRC) is now available! You can find the “Report on Caregiving Youth in the U.S.: Progress and Opportunity” on my research page, or on the website of the AACY Caregiving Youth Institute.
The CYRC was founded at a meeting at UNC Chapel Hill in 2015. The meeting was held in collaboration with the American Association of Caregiving Youth as a component of the Caregiving Youth Institute, which is AACY’s effort to enhance understanding of the caregiving youth population through policy and practice-relevant research. It is co-chaired by me and Dr. Connie Siskowski, President and Founder of the AACY.
To produce the report, we brought together experts in caregiving youth from across the U.S. As chair of the committee and lead author, I’m grateful for the expertise that our collaborators contributed.
