Sarah Lebu
Sarah is a third year PhD student in Environmental Science and Engineering. Before joining the department in 2021, she spent over eight years working in collaboration with policy makers, scientists, communities, and development partners to improve access to clean drinking water and safely managed sanitation in urban and informal neighborhoods of Nairobi, Kampala, Dar es Salaam and Kigali. Her work focuses on city-wide inclusive sanitation approaches, sanitation planning and policies, utility service delivery management and monitoring evidence of sanitation interventions.
