Rita Akosua Anima Gyimah

Rita Gyimah is a PhD student in the Environmental Science and Engineering Program at UNC-Chapel Hill.  She is affiliated with the UNC’s Water Institute and her PhD research work will focus on modelling contaminant transport from septic systems to groundwater, and how environmental factors influence the transport of these contaminants. Her past work focused on modelling spatial and temporal variability of surface water quality and identifying potential sources of pollution. Her research interest is in surface and groundwater modelling, climate change, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene.
