Jiahui (Wendy) Guo

Jiahui (Wendy) Guo is a first-year MSEE student in the Department of Environmental Sciences and Engineering. Her research interests lie in sustainable community-wide sanitation technologies, bioresource recycling, wastewater treatment, and environmental remediation. She received her Bachelor of Environmental Science from the University of Hainan, China. She was involved in a research project aiming to investigate the performance of a hybrid growth membrane bioreactor for municitipal wastewater treatment and finally completed an academic report: Research Progress on Nitrogen and Phosphorus Removal in Membrane Bioreactor. She had rich experience in water quality experimental analysis and achieved outstanding results in ecological and environmental investigation practice. She looks forward to using her growing knowledge as the key to opening the door to solving environment issues.
