Anushka is a second year MPH candidate at the UNC Gillings School of Global Public Health with a concentration in Global Health. Her main interests in public health include WASH, emergency and disaster preparedness and response, and community health access and equity. She received her Bachelor of Public Health from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, along with minors in Anthropology and Health Disparities in Society. Before joining UNC and the Gillings community, she was the Program Operations Coordinator for the UF Mobile Outreach Clinic and worked at the Alachua County Health Department. Anushka’s research interests include the intersection of WASH, menstruation, and diarrheal diseases for adolescents.
