Nakul Gopakumar
Education: Bachelor of Engineering (Electrical and Electronics)
Experience: 7 years in Manufacturing, specializing in operations and product strategy.
Interest in Analytics: Manufacturing has increasingly become data-driven, with decisions on production, quality control, and supply chain management relying heavily on data analytics. I have worked with OEMs to develop products leveraging analytical data from target markets and customers. I aim to make analytics fun through active outreach and promoting the use of AI tools to learn analytics for future KFBS graduates.

Eric Snell
Education: B.S. Data Analytics, B.S. Economics from The Ohio State University
Experience: Straight from undergrad! I’ve had AI/ML internships in mechanical engineering research (defense industry) and insurance. Working at Lowe’s Home Improvement in Assortment Planning during Summer 2024.
Interest in Analytics: I’m interested in how we can use novel AI/ML techniques to address real-world problems like the overuse of pesticides. By bringing analytics to underpenetrated industries, I believe we can increase sustainability and build a greener future.
Kevin Eichlin
Education: Double Tarheel! Bachelor’s degree in Economics from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with minors in Data Analytics and History.
Experience: Straight from undergrad! Held a variety of internships in LEAN Engineering (Manufacturing Industry), Marketing Analytics, and with a local startup through initial seed fundraising round. This summer I will be working at Masonite International as a corporate finance intern in Treasury and Financial Risk Management.
Interest in Analytics: Interested in continuing to hone developed Data Analysis skills and learning how to apply practically in business settings. My professional interest focus relies in the Financial Industry, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing Operations and additionally enjoy hobby projects centered around Sports Analytics.
