Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee

Created in the fall of 2021, the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee (DEIC) is a departmental committee tasked with providing resources, programming, events, and leadership around DEI in the department. The DEIC consists of a select group of students, staff, and faculty, and is chaired by the department’s DEI director, who also sits on the departmental executive committee and serves as the diversity liaison to the College of Arts and Sciences
