We are recruiting at all levels including postdocs, graduate students, undergrads, and high schoolers!
High Schoolers
The Future Researchers for Environmental Solutions and Health (FRESH) Outcomes program is a week-long summer internship for high school students who are interested in learning more about environmental health. Throughout the internship, you can expect many relevant lectures and hand-on experiments focusing on key topics relating to environmental health solutions and outcomes. This is an in-person internship where you would be in a lab at UNC learning about biological science that can be applied to other fields in numerous different ways. Learn more here or reach out to Hadley Hartwell. The internship for 2024 will be the week of June 24th.
Undergraduate Students
The Equity and Environmental Justice Program (QUEST) internship is a paid summer experience for undergraduate students interested in environmental justice-based research. The QUEST interns work directly with graduate student mentors and IEHS faculty to perform research dedicated to solutions that promote environmental justice. Learn more here.
