Eric received his BA in Chemistry and BA in English from UNC Chapel Hill. He also has a certificate in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology (BCB) from the UNC School of Medicine. His research uncovers the biological pathways by which environmental exposures during critical periods of development affect health life course trajectories. He characterizes health outcomes resulting from chemical exposures through toxicogenomic methods, specifically the biosocial encoding of diseases through molecular processes, and the differential susceptibility at key points of the lifecycle and diverse populations.
