Duo released an updated version of its web-based prompt. With this update, Citrix 2-step verification will be updated to a new platform.

- Everyone who uses Citrix at UNC (for example – UNCApps or Virtual Lab)
When the change is happening
You will see the new 2-step verification method starting the evening of May 13, 2024.
5/14/24 update: The Citrix change is delayed. The new date for the change is the evening of May 15, 2024.
Noteworthy aspects of the change
After this change, individuals who log into Citrix at UNC (for example – uncapps.its.unc.edu or virtuallab.unc.edu) will need to verify their identity using Microsoft MFA instead of Duo.
