I know it’s been a long wait, but today I’m pleased to announce that TeamDynamix is our official, selected vendor from our Customer Support Tool RFP process. A big thank you to the members of our RFP committee, vertical team leaders, and vertical team members for the tremendous time and dedication they put into the RFP process.

TeamDynamix (TDX) was the top scorer across every single one of our assessment groups. This was a pleasant surprise and underscored our decision to conduct an RFP and our confidence in the RFP process. The resounding sentiment from our scorers was the strength of TDX across the board and the “fit” for UNC-Chapel Hill.

What happens next?

First, we all take the next few weeks to enjoy the holiday break! When we return in January, we will kick off the implementation project. For the first month, the focus is primarily on (1) our Platform and Engagement teams beginning TDX training, and (2) the project team initiating an exhaustive discovery process with TDX to ensure once the “real work” starts that we are set up for success.

There are lots of questions about project structure and timeline that we don’t have answers to yet, but those will get sorted out early in 2024. Please know that the team and I will communicate early and often about our plans as timelines and milestones emerge. We intend to go live with TDX in June.

The Customer Support Tool website we used for the RFP process will evolve into the hub for information about the project. I suggest bookmarking that site so you can easily reference it once we hit the gas on the project in 2024.

Thanks again for your patience and collaboration. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday, and Happy New Year!

-Kate
