The Carolinas Conflict Consortium is an annual workshop where faculty and graduate students present research on peace and conflict. The fifth annual meeting of the Consortium will be held at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill on April 26-27, 2024.

We invite submissions on any type of conflictual or unconventional politics between or within states. In past years, most papers presented at the Consortium have employed large-N statistical analysis, experiments, and/or game theoretic approaches.

Submissions can be either (1) completed papers or (2) detailed experimental or observational research designs. Eight papers will be selected for ~40 minute slots for presentation and discussion/feedback.

If you are interested in submitting a paper or research design, participating as a discussant, or attending the consortium, please complete this form by February 10, 2024. You will be notified if your paper is selected by late February.

If you have questions, please contact the organizers of the Consortium: Chelsea Estancona (estancon@mailbox.sc.edu) and James Walsh (jwalsh@charlotte.edu).
