Welcome to the Biology Microscopy Core at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill!

We provide the Department of Biology and broader UNC community with access, training and assistance with a wide array of high-end imaging systems, for epifluorescence, TIRF, confocal, spinning disk and super-resolution, as well as image analysis.

The Biology Microscopy Core is also open to outside users.

The Core is located in the Genome Sciences Building, room 1152.

Hours of operation:  Monday through Friday, 8:00AM-5:00PM with after-hours access provided to qualified users.
