How does the money work?
- Participants will receive up to $200 in e-gift cards if they do all the parts of the Good Gifts Study.
- Any payment provided for participation in this study may be subject to applicable tax withholding obligations.
- The e-gift card money includes $30 for completing the first survey in an ILS class, $10 for each of the four Good Gifts sessions attended as part of the ILS classes, $40 for completing the second survey in an ILS class and up to $90 for completing daily online diaries.
- Diaries take 1-2 minutes to complete and are really brief surveys. You will complete them for six weeks while you are in the study. The more you complete, the more you help the study and the more you make. You will receive: $90 for completing 90% or more; $80 for completing 80% or more; $70 for completing 70% or more; $60 for completing 60% or more, $50 for completing 50% or more, and $2 per survey for less than 50% of surveys completed.
- We will email gift cards to you after the first survey, half-way through the study, and at the end of the study.
- Participation in this study is voluntary. If you chose to withdraw, you will still be compensated for the components of the study that you have completed.
