eIPS Fidelity Project

A web application for improved ease of submitting and assessing data for IPS fidelity among mental health providers

The eIPS Fidelity Project is led by the UNC Department of Psychology. The project aims to develop an online portal that will help mental health providers implement the Individual Placement and Support (IPS) model of supported employment, which is an evidence-based practice that helps people with mental illness find and keep jobs in the competitive labor market.

This project will be a web-based application that allows providers to create an account, log in, and fill out the surveys required for the IPS Fidelity Scale, which is a validated tool for measuring adherence to the IPS model. Additionally, the system will enable administrators to access and manage the data of all providers, as well as generate reports on IPS fidelity ratings.

The eIPS Fidelity Project will benefit both providers and administrators by offering a convenient, user-friendly, and secure way to assess and improve IPS fidelity. Ultimately, the project will enhance the quality and effectiveness of IPS services and improve the lives of people with mental illness who seek employment.
