Dean Lee (MSU/FRIB) Lattice simulations for the nuclear many-body problem This talk presents Monte Carlo lattice simulations for the nuclear many-body problem and several new algorithms developed by the Nuclear Lattice Effective Field Theory Collaboration. Some recent results are presented, including the structure of the nuclear states of carbon-12 and a new approach called wave function matching that allows for Monte Carlo simulations using a high-fidelity Hamiltonian that would otherwise produce a severe sign problem.
