Formatting your post
Images and Media
You are able to add images, links, and multimedia connections by placing your cursor where you wish it to be and using the “Add Media” link. It is best to upload an image to the Media Library and link it from there. You can use the link function under post and adapt its size and location. Please give a caption to your media entries.
Endnotes
When you include endnotes, do so with a bracketed number. [1] Then include a “Works Consulted” or “Works Cited” section at the bottom of your post with the corresponding numbers and citation information.
Links
This website/blog format allows for fluid connections to pertinent information that will add value to our writing and research. Please use hyperlinks to sources in your works cited section, as well as within your post as it is appropriate (think of the way links work in a Wikipedia article). You are especially encouraged to link to your classmates’ posts within the website when relevant and related information is cited in those entries that connect with your own.
Resources
As you research, you will come across links to helpful websites that have a significant focus on the memory of Roe. You should share these by posting them in the comment box on the “Additional Resources” page listed on the menu on the front page of the site. Please include a brief description of the site material with the link.
Digital Accessibility
Please refer to this digital accessibility quick guide for how to format web posts in order to make them accessible for a broad user base, including people using screen readers and other assistive devices/technologies.
