My name is Kristina Vaher and I am a junior from Belmont, North Carolina. I am currently majoring in Psychology B.S. and have plans to apply to Clinical Ph.D. programs after undergraduate school. I chose to major in Psychology because of my passion for mental health and helping others in general. I have enjoyed every Psychology class I have taken at UNC and I am super excited to help others on their path as well. My passion for mental health has led me to a research position focusing on pediatric mental health. I am a member of CPALS, a non-profit organization that provides care and support to UNC children and their families. Additionally, I am a Mental Health Ambassador at UNC. I am also a member of HGAPS, where we help make science more accessible to the general public. I love getting involved on campus and would be happy to answer any questions that you have about research and getting involved in general! In my free time, I like to spend time outdoors, cook, work out, and watch movies. I enjoy meeting new people so please do not hesitate to reach out. I would love to chat!
