About Me

I am a third year applied mathematics doctoral student in the Applied Dynamics group at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My advisor is Christopher Jones.

I grew up in Evanston, IL and graduated from Colorado College with a BA in Mathematics in 2017. My undergraduate advisor was Michael Penn.

My research interests are in applied dynamical systems and mathematical modeling. Specifically, I am interested in the dynamics of wildland fire and the mathematical structure of fire-related phenomena. For a detailed research statement, see here.

As of September 2021, I am supported as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow.

My research code is available on my Github.
