Online Resources
Use one of the online tools listed below to start working with colors and building your own color schemes.
Paletton – This tool can help you quickly build palettes that work well. You can easily switch between the various color schemes and it automatically suggests secondary colors to go along with your primary color scheme. It can also export the color values to a bunch of different formats, including HTML and CSS.
Coolors – This is a fun website that lets you generate random schemes whenever you hit the space bar. You can then refine and remake them to your liking. It also lets you browse through color schemes that were recently-created by other designers.
Adobe Color – This is Adobe’s color tool. It is linked to your Adobe Creative Cloud account and can be accessed via most Adobe apps.
