Below is a recommendations report I created for the Strategy and Innovation Department at the City of Raleigh Municipal Government. I am currently working on a project that involves reconceptualizing their professional development courses to aid strategy and performance management efforts.
In this report, I researched adult learning strategies and best practices and made suggestions for how we should structure the courses, key concepts to prioritize, and considerations to make before beginning the prototyping process.
I created this recommendations report early in the design thinking process, and I think that it addresses both the “Define” and “Ideate” phases. The report both defines important considerations for adult learners and suggests strategies for designing the training program.
