Hi! Welcome to my website. My name is Livi Lawton and I am pursuing a Master’s degree in the educational innovation, technology, a and entrepreneurship program at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. I am on the Eduprenuer track and am specifically interested in the fields of sales, marketing, and business management post-graduation.
I completed my undergraduate studies at UNC-Chapel Hill in the Spring of 2023 while also competing on the Division One lacrosse team. I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising and Public Relations from the Hussman School of Journalism and Media. Balancing academics and lacrosse is very challenging yet rewarding. I believe it has set me up perfectly to succeed in the MEITE program.
Although I do not have much professional experience, I was able to learn a lot during my undergrad. I volunteered at Gigi’s Playhouse and taught sports to individuals with down syndrome. I completed the Richard A. Baddour Leadership Academy at Carolina and became a mentor to new student-athletes in the program. I also served as my team’s community service liaison and team captain.
I was able to learn more about the professional world through internships and jobs as well. I held marketing intern positions at The Devon Review and Livtech. I currently occupy an internship position at the Innovate Carolina Junction which is a collaborative coworking space that is dedicated to fueling economic growth in the town of Chapel Hill.
