Personalized & Adaptive Learning Project – TOEFL Test Takes’ English Listening Acquisition

In the course Personalized & Adaptive Learning, I was asked to design a project applying various theoretical frameworks from educational psychology to inform the design of personalized and adaptive learning by focusing design on learner characteristics. This personalized and/or adaptive learning product should abide a coherent theoretical grounding, logic model and design schema, and deliver a learning experience that successfully accommodate or leverage learners’ characteristics or actions.

My project is based on the theory of Funds of Knowledge, Isolated Elements theory, Expertise Reversal effect theory, Self-testing, Mastery of goals, Interest – to help students who lack motivation, confidence and time commitment to acquire English listening. Below is a screenshot of my project and a link to the full project can be found here.
