List of events that the ABC Club will organize in the Aug 2019 – May 2020 academic year

1. Mid-Autumn Festival (September 2019)

The Mid-Autumn Festival is held on the 15th day of the eighth month in the Han calendar—essentially the night of a full moon—which falls near the Autumnal Equinox

2. Lunar New Year (January 2020)

Lunar New Year is the Chinese festival that celebrates the beginning of a new year on the traditional lunar calendar. The festival is usually referred to as the Spring Festival in mainland China, and is one of several Lunar New Years in Asian countries.

5. Hanami Festival (April 2020)

Also known as the ‘Cherry Blosson Festival”, the Hanami festival is a long-standing Japanese tradition of welcoming spring.

6. Holi/Water Festival

Holi The Festival Of Color in the Indian subcontinent, that celebrates the victory of good over evil and a celebration of the arrival of spring and harvests to come. It’s the festival of colors, emotions, and happiness.
