Upcoming Events

Over the past semester I have been involved in planning a future event specifically to help student athletes sell jerseys with their name on it.

  • The goal of the event is provide current student athletes at the University of North Carolina the chance generate revenue off of jersey themed shirts with their name on it. This aligns with UNC’s NIL Departments Mission to help athletes be granted opportunities to grow their personal brand. The event has been planned for January 25th, 2024. Jersey Night will take place before the UNC Women’s Basketball Game against the University of Miami.

Contributions

I have been fortunate enough to make contributions in an effort to organize Jersey Night 2024 and make sure it runs smoothly on the 25th of January.

  • I first created a proposal for how the event should go
  • I’ve been creating a timeline of the events leading up to the event including preparation and it’s aftermath
  • Collaborated with my intern supervisor on what we plan for next steps
  • Listed ideas for what activities to include
  • I created a diagram of the event setup, this way we know how the activities will be organized
  • I created an expectations page for both the athletes and organizers of the event
  • Drafted an invitation for the event
  • Will continue to help the event progress
