UNC Athletic Moments Research

As apart of my research and the communication between the UNC athletic department and Campus Ink I have been sending out weekly emails titled “UNC Moments”. These emails include athletic events taking place throughout the week as well as crucial milestones achieved by athletes.

Accomplishments and Big Moments 

UNC Basketball: 

  • Harrison Ingram hits 1000 Career Points 
  • RJ Davis hits 1800 points, 300 assists, 200 three pointers 

UNC Women’s lacrosse 

  • Caitlyn Wurzburger climbs leaderboard for UNC All time assists leaders at number 4 
  • Ashley Humphrey hits 200 Career Points 

UNC Gymnastics 

  • Hallie Thompson gets nominated for AAI award 

UNC Women’s Tennis 

  • Elizabeth Scotty and Reese Brantmeier Ranked 1st in ITA Doubles Rankings 

This Week (02/19/2024) 

  • On February 22nd, UNC women’s basketball has a throwback thursday game against NC State 
  • Men’s Wrestling hosts Duke at home (02/23) Senior Night 
  • Baseball plays East Carolina at home (02/23)
  • Men’s lacrosse plays their first home game against John Hopkins (02/24)
