The UNC NIL Department has recently partnered with the company Campus Ink. Campus Ink is a merch platform built for students & athletes providing apparel for universities, fraternities & sororities. Throughout this semester, I have focused on communicating both with Campus Ink and my internship supervisor to come up with ways to market the UNC NIL Store.

One of these ideas I helped advise was an event called “Campus Ink on Campus”, this is an event where Campus Ink employees would come into the UNC athlete dining hall called “training table”. The athletes would be shown examples of possible merchandise they would get personalized and published on the Campus Ink website. By signing up for the Campus Ink website, athletes would have their Name, Image, or Likeness put on merchandise and get a certain amount of profit based on the items sold.

While planning this event, I presented a slideshow to the Campus Ink team detailing what my vision was for the event. I also made sure to provide my perspective of being a student athlete myself, and a timeline of what the team should plan for before the event itself.
