- Find a case of intellectual property infringement and briefly describe the case in a post on our website.
- In another post, please respond to Friday’s reading: Benjamin’s statement that “even the most perfect reproduction of a work of art is lacking in one element: its presence in time and space, its unique existence at the place where it happens to be,” or in its “aura.” Benjamin defines the term “aura” of the work of art as “that which withers in the age of mechanical reproduction”. Do you agree or disagree with this assessment of mechanical reproduction? Why or why not?

- Write a post on whether or not you think streaming (or licensing) music/tv/movies has positively impacted DRM, if there is no physical disk, is it easier or harder to copy? Is it no longer important to “own” music/movie/tv? And what impact do you think this has on remix/sampling?
