Comparing Videos | Peyton Metzler

I loved watching all these videos you selected for today and found each one of them extremely interesting. All these videos focused on the ways different art forms/mediums were adapted, remixed, and sampled. They all approach talking about the way the art was changed differently. Coming from different mediums, each video utilizes the medium of the art to discuss the adaptation. For example, the Frank Ocean video focuses on music and showcases music that Frank Ocean has sampled some segments from. Whereas, the “Little Women” video has film clips side by side of scenes from different adaptations. All of these videos worked to show how a piece was changed and adapted. These videos were good because they not only discussed the adaptations but also showed how they were changed to become what they are now.
