Good Remix – Yiran Xiao

It’s hard to judge something completely without subjective mind. So I don’t think something can be objectively bad or good. Even though nine out of ten people agree on the art or the movie are good, the remaining one person might not agree upon. In my perspective, objectives come from the unanimous ideas from everyone. But apparently, it’s impossible to do so. Take an example of he flower that was mentioned in the video we watched on Friday. Despite the fact that people would not be opposed that the flower is beautiful, it’s possible to have a different opinion on the flower.

I think a good remix is not only made of the sources it’s coming from, but also what the author tries to convey through the remix. A remix of music that knocks several songs together weighs less than the remix that transmits positive minds or commemorates a great man. I would judge the remix by the technical quality and the content and ideas from behind.
