Song Sample – Alan Dang

In Dua Lipa‘s song “Love Again”. She samples the beginning of “My Women” by Lew Stone & the Monseigneur Band feat. Al Bowlly. The sample is reminiscent of the iconic Imperial March theme which catches your attention in the beginning. The sampled sound has a serious tone but then both songs switch it up into a more lighthearted and funky beat. Love Again is more pop while My Women is more a jazz/swing kind of music.
