Thumbnail Reflection – Javier

My thumbnail art was inspired by traveling vlogs. In my opinion traveling vlogs are some of the best youtube videos because they are eventful and keep viewers engaged. My thumbnail is made up of many different picture from a trip that give a preview the video. Often times this is a strategy that I believe is effective because it catches your attention and make you curious about what is going on. I was inspired by reaction video that show the a picture of the youtuber with a shocked face to cause curiosity as to what cause the reaction. My thumbnail also consists of a title in big texts that read “Jackpot in Mexico!!!” with different money emojis. I chose this title  and emojis because I believe they are ambiguous and leave the mind wondering what occurred with the knowledge that money is involved.

My intended audience are people who like to travel or experience different place around the world. I think i do a good job at capturing this audience by choosing images that have great sceneries as the background. I also try to capture an audience that likes exciting videos that revolve around betting or gambling.
