YT Thumbnail Reflection – Jai

I chose to make a thumbnail for a video reviewing the new Tyler, The Creator album ‘CALL ME IF YOU GET LOST’. My audience is definitely be long-time fans of Tyler, as the cover I created is my own version of the album cover (visit callmeifyougetlost.com to make your own!!). I prioritized simplicity with this cover because I did not want to overwhelm the potential viewer. I included the line “BEST ALBUM OF 2021?” to both convey my own thoughts on the album + it will entice more people to view my video to compare their opinion to mine. During this process, I realized that making a thumbnail is very difficult because it requires you to narrow down and pull out the most important information in your video without spoiling what it’s about.
