Youtube Thumbnail Reflection | Peyton Metzler

For my Youtube thumbnail, I attempted to mimic the style of one of my favorite YouTubers, Lexie Lombard. She has a very casual and carefree vibe to her content. It is almost like she is talking to one of her friends in her videos. I think her thumbnail style highlights this in its scrapbook-like appearance. The thumbnails she creates (and I created) are trying to reach an audience who wants a friendly video to watch. The thumbnail looks like a digital diary, which was my intent. I could have changed my approach and gone more of the typical, clickbait route. However, I think if I were a YouTuber I would prefer fewer loyal followers, rather than random people who watched my video due to clickbait.
