Lessing Introduction

Copyright is something that I believe to be genuinely well intended but with unintended consequences. Copyright is protective over creators which is beneficial and deserved due to the amount of hard work poured into their creations but it leaves a lot of negative wiggle room in terms of what can be considered copyright and fineable. For example, copying a photo onto Instagram can be an example of copyright when the motive behind it was not to steal or claim the work. I’m not incredibly knowledgable on the topic but this is my understanding of the need for copyright to change and I look forward to learning more on the topic!
